TOKYO: More than 40 individuals were harmed in a blast on Sunday at a bar in Sapporo in northern Japan, Kyodo news organization detailed.
There was no quick word on the reason for the impact, which the office said had made various structures fall. Kyodo said one individual was in basic condition.
Video of the occurrence posted via web-based networking media indicated blazes and dim smoke surging into the night sky and individuals scrambling to security adjacent to a road strewn with flotsam and jetsam and broke glass.

Police and firefighters attempted to get the site under control, battling blazes and smoke, and cautioned individuals in the area of the likelihood of another blast, the organization detailed.
"I heard a blast which seemed like thunder, and my condominium was shaken," a man who lives close-by was cited as saying by the Japan Times. Observers revealed smelling gas in the territory following the blast, which Kyodo said occurred at 8.30 pm
